Dr. Phil on Gay and Lesbian Issues at advocate.com

Wow! Bravo Dr. Phil! I have never watched his show, but as the interviewer says at one point, its easy to have a preconceived notion about "white men from Texas" and where they stand on certain issues. I had no idea Dr. Phil was not just as open to LGB folk (they didn't discuss the T's), but as intelligent, well read and well thought out on his positions as he is. I'm not likely to start watching his show, but I'm glad to know that when Gay issues come up, he is serving up the unvarnished truth, regardless of how some of his audience may feel about it.

P.S. There are 5 segments to the interview but the player doesn't put them all in a row (great idea!) So just do a search and you'll find the rest.

Sufi.Soul.Channel4.Documentary part 1

This doc was a balm after the sadness of the previous one on gays in Uganda. I love Sufi music in its variety of forms. And I even learned of a few new ones through this joyous doc. Some day I'll get to the Fez festival of World Sacred Music and enjoy the Sufi music as well as the music of those who are invited from all faiths throughout the world.

What's Morally Wrong With Homosexuality?

Excellent, and funny series of answers to the usual canards about the moral "wrongness" of homosexuality. (And I don't mean ducks, people!)
